Reception Guidelines

Upon entering the main reception are follow these instructions:

1. Greet the Mistress first. Approach, stop a meter away, kneel (bow if you are unable to kneel), say "I am humbled by the blessings, and awed by the presence of you, Lady of the House", rise but keep your head bowed, and do not turn your back on her until you must. NB. If the Mistress rises from her seat, all who are capable must stand as well until she sits again, leaves the room, or gives everyone leave to sit.
2. Greet the Archon secondly. Approach, stop a meter away, kneel (bow if you are unable to kneel), say "I honour and respect the blood and stone of the dragon", rise, and do not turn your back on him until you must.
3. You will then be able to greet the new Bride and Groom.
4. Assigned seating will be provided before entering the room, please ask a servant for help if you need any.

Leaving: It is considered rude to leave the event before the Mistress. If you must leave before she has, ensure that you go to her, thank her, and apologise for leaving before you go.

Gifts: Guests may bring gifts for the goddess instead of the couple.
